As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the classification is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Micro Enterprise: Investment up to Rs. 1 crore.<\/li>\n<li>Small Enterprise: Investment between Rs. 1 crore and Rs. 10 crore.<\/li>\n<li>Medium Enterprise: Investment between Rs. 10 crore and Rs. 50 crore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Gather_Required_Information\"><\/span>2. Gather Required Information:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Before initiating the MSME registration process, ensure you have the necessary information, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aadhar number of the applicant (Proprietor\/Partner\/Director).<\/li>\n<li>PAN card of the business entity.<\/li>\n<li>Details of the business activities.<\/li>\n<li>Bank account details of the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Visit_the_Udyam_Registration_Portal\"><\/span>3. Visit the Udyam Registration Portal:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The MSME registration process is now known as Udyam Registration, and it is done through the Udyam Registration portal (<a href=\"https:\/\/udyamregistration.gov.in\/\" target=\"_new\">https:\/\/udyamregistration.gov.in\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Aadhar_Verification\"><\/span>4. Aadhar Verification:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Initiate the registration process by providing the Aadhar number of the applicant. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Fill_in_the_Registration_Form\"><\/span>5. Fill in the Registration Form:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Complete the registration form with details such as business name, type, and PAN details.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Enter_Business_Details\"><\/span>6. Enter Business Details:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Provide information about the business activities, location, and bank details.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Choose_the_Classification\"><\/span>7. Choose the Classification:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Select the appropriate classification (Micro, Small, or Medium) based on the investment criteria.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"8_Self-Declaration\"><\/span>8. Self-Declaration:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Complete the self-declaration form affirming the accuracy of the provided information.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"9_Verification_and_Submission\"><\/span>9. Verification and Submission:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Review the entered information, and if everything is accurate, submit the application.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"10_Generation_of_Udyam_Registration_Number\"><\/span>10.
